Matthew 24:12 iniquity will abound, and the love of many shall wax cold.

Romans 3:20 By the law is the knowledge of sin. We need to know these sins need acknowledgement according to 1st John 1:9 and godly repentance. These sins need to be seen as God sees them, acknowledged as black as God sees them, not white-washed. Not minimized.

Deuteronomy 27:
9And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
10Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
11And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
12These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
13And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
15Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

16Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

17Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark (original documents of America). And all the people shall say, Amen.

Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark (constitution) , which thy fathers have set.

18Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

19Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

24Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Deut 28:43 "...43The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. 44He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. 45 "...because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel." Deuteronomy 32:51

Early America was called the New Canaan by colonial settlers.
America was discovered in time to give the people of the reformation a place to go.
America was founded upon faith towards God.
It only took a little while to see hearts turning to worship prosperity instead of the God who prospered them.
In Our Sacred Honor, an anthology of documents from early America, a preacher writes, it only took a few years for their hearts to turn towards dollar-god instead of Almighty God their Creator, their Provider, their Succor, their Strength.
Against Prov 22:28 and Deut 27:17 We have torn down the ancient landmarks of our fathers, the Constitution has been scrapped and buried.
In many ways, the cognitive landmarks have been destroyed, buried, or lost. Destroyed by enemies, buried by the uncaring.
Our courts and legislators have received favors for decisions that harmed the just. Deut 27:19,25,
We have caused the blind to be led astray. We saw lewd avarice, murder and sodomy, fornicators and blasphemers, and permitted it and even supported it with purchases in the market of the goods and services of those who promoted such.

We gave the children courses on drugs, sex, and psychology while hiding the things of God from their eyes and ears in their schools.
We have perverted justice and judgment. We took too long to help and helped not aright, those whom we put into bondage.
And now the sins weigh grieveously upon the scales. Mercy has prevailed for righteous balance, and nations will see in the end God will not be mocked. Repent, and you and yours may escape the worst. But be not presumptuous on His mercy, for except ye repent, how can you expect to see His HELP in time of need.

Read it and weep, and seek a godly repentance that need not be repented again. Confess your sins, turn and be healed of unrighteousness.

His mercy endures. He convicts the heart of sin (John 16:8) , not to condemn, but to cleanse. The shed blood of Jesus covers sin. He gives it to you to agree with Him, that such and such a sin is under that shed blood. (2nd Corinthians 7:6-12)
